The use of glass for this purpose has several benefits as it is easy to use retractable glass walls when compared to other materials thanks to their lighter weight but more importantly it only keeps the noise out while still giving visual access.
Designed by architect Maya Rosenberg the home employs an extensive (and expensive) yet ergonomic use of glass which ensures that the interiors stay connected with the gorgeous garden the lavish pool and a spacious patio promising for a wonderful evening no matter the season.
The top floor is where the living quarters and the master bedroom are housed and its cantilevered presence offers the owners both unique views along with giving the home a distinct character. The stylish pool in the back surrounded by a stone deck area and the spacious rooftop provide great opportunities for some fun evening parties while ergonomic interiors along with cozy furnishings complete this Brazilian beauty!
The stand out structure of the entire design is the large metal wall made out of painted aluminum that not only adds to the beauty and the balance of the home but also provides privacy by visually shielding the interiors from the wanderers’ eyes outside. The tasteful glazed flooring and the pool offer perfectly reflective surfaces and give the home a more spacious feel.
Designed by Kidosaki Architects Studio it is not just the external dome of the residence but also every single element present on the inside that use the Mt.Asama backdrop and play off of it. While the home itself is not physically associated with the mountain the visual presence makes it the most important part of this cool Japanese house- Just the way its owners wanted it to be!
